Fredonia High School
Message From the Principal

The school-year has kicked off to a great start and we are looking forward to an academically successful year. Our extra-curricular programs are looking promising as well. This year we are especially excited about the Academic – Attendance – Discipline incentive program. Kanab Country Auto & Yamaha is offering a free 2008 250 Yamaha Raptor to one lucky student in the area who completes the school year with perfect attendance, grades “C-” or above, and no discipline referrals. Any student sixteen years old and older who qualifies will be given an opportunity to win.

Perfect attendance means no absences and no tardies. If a student needs to miss due to illness or medical/dental appointments they can make up the time through the principal.

The academic portion speaks for itself; students must earn a “C-“ grade or above in all of their classes for each quarter of this year.

As far as the discipline is concerned, to qualify a student can not have any referrals to the principal’s office for the entire school-year.

At the end of the school-year all sixteen year old students who have met the qualifying guidelines will be invited to the Kanab Country Auto & Yamaha location for a chance to win the free ATV. Each student will receive one envelope which will contain a prize, one of which will be the ATV with protective riding gear.

I feel this is a great incentive for our kids and I want to personally thank Artie and the folks at Kanab Country Auto & Yamaha for their interest in our students.

Mr. Bartlett
